Some scenic areas in Guangzhou have been temporarily closed in these two days in order to prevent and control the recent COVID-19 outbreak and avoid crowd safety risks.
Also, many performance venues, cultural and museum institutions, libraries and cinemas have halted services, or require audiences to hold a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test report before entry.

Yuexiu District
Sun Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province:The library has been closed since April 11, and the time to resume services is yet to be notified. Online services such as the digital library will continue, and overdue fees for borrowed documents will be waived. There is a 24-hour book return box at the main entrance of the library, so you can return books without entering the library.
Yuexiu Library:The main library and branches are closed from April 12 to 18.
Guangzhou Children's Library: The library are closed and services inculding book return suspended from April 12 to 18. And readers who have overdue books will not lose points. However, online services such as the digital library will continue as usual.
Guangdong Museum of Art: It is closed from April 12, and the reopening time will be notified later.
Guangzhou Museum: Temporarily closed from April 12 to 18.
The museum of the Nauyue King of Western Han Dynasty: Closed from April 12 to 18.
The Museum of Site of the 3rd National Congress of the Communist Party of China: Closed from April 12 to 18.
Guangzhou Luxun Museum: Closed from April 12; the reopening time is yet to be notified.
Guangdong Revolutionary History Museum: The Guangzhou Modern History Museum, the Guangzhou Uprising Memorial Hall, and the All-China Federation of Trade Union Site Memorial Hall are closed from April 12 to 18.
Guangzhou Museum of Art: The museum has been closed from April 9 with the online reservation service suspended. The reopening time is yet to be notified.
Tianhe District
Guangdong Provincial Museum: From April 10, all visitors can only enter the museum from the west gate and must provide a green health code and a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate.
Guangzhou Library:From April 12, all readers who enter the library must provide a green health code and a 48-hour nucleic acid test negative certificate.
Haizhu District
Haizhu Library and Haizhu Children's Library:Closed from April 12 to 18, and the return date of books and periodicals will be postponed accordingly.
Lingnan Arts and Crafts Museum:Closed from April 12 to 18; the reopening time is yet to be notified.
The memorial museum of Generalissimo Sun Yat-Sun's Mansion: Closed from April 12 to 18.
Huangpu District
Huangpu Library: Closed from April 12 to 17. The main library, branch libraries and service points have been suspended, and overdue fees for borrowed documents will be waived.
Whampoa Military Academy Site Museum: From April 12 to 17, services are temporarily closed.
Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall:Closed from April 12 to 17.
Guangzhou Maritime Museum: Closed from April 12 to 17.
Baiyun District
Baiyun Library: Closed from April 9, and the reopening time will be notified later.
Guangzhou Children's Park: Guangzhou Children's Park has been closed from April 8, 2022, and the reopening time is yet to be notified.
Baiyun Mountain
Baiyun Mountain has completely closed the Sculpture Park, South Gate and West Gate Visitor Center. The sightseeing bus services are also suspended.
Some facilities in the following attractions are temporarily closed:
Yuntai Park: Drunken Garden（醉華苑）, glasshouse, cableway
Mingchungu: Lianquan Gate, Wuxianqiao Gate.
Moxingling: Moxingling Tourist Area is open as normal while the Keziling Gate and Wulonggu Gate are closed.
Mingzhulou: Lengdongchang Plant Gate, Yuanxiatian Gate, Yongtai Gate, Heshulin Gate, Cuizhuyuan Gate, North Gate are closed.
Luhu Tourist Area: The entrance to the connection project, Xinghai Garden, Jufang Garden are also closed.

Panyu District
Nanhan No. 2 Mausoleum Museum:Closed from April 12 to 17.
Panyu Library:Services are suspended from April 11 to 17, and the reopening time may be set according to the actual situation.
Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (University Town): Closed since April 11, and the reopening time will be notified later.
Guangdong Science Center: The Guangdong Science Center (including the Science and Technology Cinema) are temporarily closed from April 12 to 18. Entrance tickets and movie tickets purchased will be fully refunded via the original method of payment.
Zengcheng District
Guangzhou Zengcheng District Museum: Has been closed since April 9, and the reopening time will be announced in advance on the WeChat official account of "Guangzhou Zengcheng District Museum"(廣州市增城區博物館).
Baishui Village Waterfall in Zengcheng
Baishui Village Waterfall in Zengcheng District has decided to temporarily close from April 11, 2022 (Monday) to April 15, 2022 (Friday), and is scheduled to reopen from April 16 (Saturday). Visitors who have booked tickets online can apply for a full refund.
Nansha District
Nansha Cultural Center: Online and offline reservation services have been suspended since April 9. The outdoor venues of the Jiaomenhe Community Sports Center will operate as normal (the online reservation service is available on the WeChat official account of “Sports Nansha (文體南沙”). Residents entering the Jiaomenhe Community Sports Center must hold a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate.
Nansha Library: From April 11 to 13, the main library and branches (service points) of Nansha Library are closed. Please follow the WeChat official account of "Nansha Library"(南沙圖書館) for the news on the reopening of the library.
Conghua District
Conghua Cultural Center: All offline activities have been suspended since April 9. If residents have other needs, please call the staff on 020-87923213 to make an appointment, and must hold a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate when entering. Huadu District
Huadu Museum: From April 9, all the places managed by Huadu Museum (Former Residence of Hong Xiuquan, Zizheng doctor buildings temple, Guanglu Doctor's Temple, former site of the First Farmers Association in Huaxian County, the site of the inaugural meeting of the Fourth Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army) have been closed.
